Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

You will be picked up early in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at a viewpoint for photos.

Upon arrival at the park, enjoy a full game drive, exploring the lakeshore, woodlands, and grasslands. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos and pelicans, as well as wildlife such as black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, lions, and, with luck, leopards.

At midday, break for lunch at a lodge or picnic site within the park. After lunch, continue with another game drive, offering further opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

In the late afternoon, depart Lake Nakuru and drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
