Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park

Your safari begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a scenic drive along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway towards Tsavo West National Park. Upon arrival, you will enter the park for a game drive as you make your way to your lodge or camp. Tsavo West is famous for its rugged terrain, rolling hills, lava flows, and dense vegetation, creating a dramatic safari atmosphere. During the game drive, you may spot elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species.

After lunch at your lodge, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive exploring key attractions within the park. A visit to the famous Mzima Springs offers a chance to see hippos and crocodiles in crystal-clear waters, while the surrounding landscapes provide excellent photographic opportunities. As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of Tsavo West.

Day 2: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi

Following an early breakfast, you will depart Tsavo West and drive towards Tsavo East National Park, enjoying a game drive en route as you exit the park. Tsavo East is known for its vast open plains and excellent wildlife viewing, making it one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations. Upon entering the park, you will embark on an extensive game drive, encountering the famous red elephants, large prides of lions, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and a wide variety of birdlife.

You will visit popular wildlife hotspots such as the Aruba Dam, where animals gather to drink, offering excellent opportunities for photography.
