Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park

Early morning pick-up from your respective hotel in Mombasa and depart for Tsavo East National Park. Arrive in time for a morning game drive, where you have excellent chances of spotting the famous red elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, waterbucks, hippos, leopards, and a wide variety of bird species.

After the game drive, proceed to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Enjoy some leisure time to relax at the lodge before departing at 4:00 pm for an afternoon game drive. Continue wildlife viewing until around 6:00 pm, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Tsavo East and drive towards Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive en route to the camp. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After check-in and lunch, relax at the camp until 4:00 pm, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Wildlife commonly seen here includes elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, monkeys, and various bird species. In the late afternoon or early evening, weather permitting, you may enjoy spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli before breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way.

Visit the Shetani Lava Flow, a striking volcanic formation, and continue to Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodiles can be viewed from an underwater observation hide. Arrive at the lodge for check-in and lunch.

After some relaxation, depart at 4:00 pm to visit the Rhino Sanctuary, where you may spot the endangered black rhino alongside elephants, giraffes, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Tsavo West National Park – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Salt Lick)

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park, taking in the stunning scenery and wildlife. After breakfast, depart for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, arriving at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on a game drive within the sanctuary, where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, gazelles, and other wildlife. The lodge’s unique architecture offers excellent opportunities for animal viewing around the waterholes.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Salt Lick – Mombasa

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart with a game drive en route to Voi, arriving at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge for lunch.

After lunch, continue the drive back to Mombasa, arriving in the early evening and being dropped off at your respective hotel.
